We have years of experience organising fantastic surf holidays in Morocco and our Taghazout Learn-To-Surf package has been created to give you the perfect Morocco surf holiday. From start to finish this package has been designed to make your stay with us in Taghazout easy, fun, and enjoyable. The package includes all your meals, surf lessons, and accommodation, allowing you to enjoy a hassle-free holiday and focus on getting your surf stoke on.  

The Waves:

Taghazout has world-class waves for all levels of surfers, including perfect 'learn-to-surf' waves! The learn-to-surf experience is designed for complete beginners and will take you from never having surfed before to standing up and surfing unassisted in just 7 days through daily surf lessons and in-depth surf coaching.

The Accommodation:

The Surf Berbere Surf Camp is situated on Hash Point overlooking the best waves in Taghazout Bay, centrally located just a short walk from the main shops and restaurants in town. Taghazout is blessed with year-round sunshine and amazing waves making it the perfect place for beginners learning to surf and experienced surfers hoping to score barrelling right-hand point breaks.

The Food:

Every morning we have a lovely breakfast selection from the cafe between 8-9 am. The breakfast is made up of fresh fruits, cereals, yoghurts, freshly baked bread and spreads, and some pancakes (who doesn’t like pancakes, bananas and Nutella!).

Then once we are down at the beach we have simple packed lunches of either salads or sandwiches. Each evening we head up to the surf camp roof terrace for a hearty 3-course dinner.

Each week the menu varies a bit, but generally, there is a mix between traditional Moroccan meals such as tajines and couscous and good old-fashioned barbeques and pizzas! If you are vegetarian, vegan, or have any dietary requirements, just let us know when you book in.

Agadir Al Massira airport is our nearest airport (Agadir only has one airport for international travel, so sometimes it is just called Agadir Airport)

We share the cost of the trip with everyone coming in on the same flight, so if you are coming in on the Easyjet flight to Agadir, then often the airport transfer will be just 5-10 USD.

Overview

Our yoga instructors, Joanna and Amy have a wealth of experience of teaching yoga all over the world. Our classes are a mix that has been developed over the years to help improve wellness, but also to help the body recover from a long day of surfing.

Our style of yoga is physically demanding due to the constant movement from one pose to the next (Vinyasa) practiced in its correct sequential order. Our Ashtanga style gradually leads the practitioner to rediscover his or her fullest potential on all levels of human consciousness, physical, psychological, and spiritual.

Combined with the practice of correct breathing (Ujjayi Pranayama), postures (asanas), gazing point (driste), and energetic locks (bandas), we help you gain control of your senses and uncover a deep awareness of yourself.

Our sunset yoga classes last just over an hour and are £8 per session (100dhs).

The staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The surf instructors (Momo and Zac) were incredibly knowledgeable and patient aha. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced surfer, you are in good hands here. Every evening you have the opportunity to take part in a yoga class facing the sea. Whether at lunchtime or in the evening the chef cooked delicious and varied dishes for us: tagine, fish, chicken, vegetables... (vegetarians welcome) . When you submit a booking request you will be charged in full, if the host declines the booking of does not accept within 7 days you will be refund in full automatically. If the host accepts your funds will be held on behalf of the host.

Well that depends on your adventure! We always recommend taking a reusable water bottle, reef safe suncream or zinc along with appropriate clothing for the activities you have planned. If you need to know more please ask our team or your host and we'll try to guide you the best we can.
