Looking to surf the best waves that Morocco has to offer but don't know where to start? The Surf Berbere Explorer Experience is for serious surfers looking to experience the magic of the Moroccan surf scene and all its epic waves.

The Vibe:

When booking the Surf Explorer Experience you will be guided by one of our local surf guides, all of whom are locals who have surfed the area for years and know all the best waves along the coastline. The surf guides will accompany you each day for the duration of your stay and take you to the best waves for the day's conditions, show you the surf spot, jump into the surf with you, and help you get some of the most incredible waves of your life!

The Surf:

Taghazout is blessed with some of the most perfect right-hand point breaks the world has to offer, and they break right on our doorstep. Our Taghazout surf camp building sits on Hash Point, which is an easy right-hander for surfers new to rocky breaks.

From the surf camp roof terrace, we can see over to Anchor Point the “Holy Grail” of Morocco’s right-hand long curling surf breaks. On a good day, folks have ridden this wave almost to the door of our surf camp building. The easy beach breaks of Crocs, Roches Diables, and Panoramas are all within a 5-minute drive.

For the real die-hards, there is the twenty-minute paddle out to contend with the fast-barreling Killers! There are so many point breaks, beach breaks, and secret spots in our short stretch of coast that every surfer will find a wave that is perfect for their level of surfing in Morocco.

The Accommodation:

The Surf Berbere Surf Camp is situated on Hash Point overlooking the best waves in Taghazout Bay, centrally located just a short walk from the main shops and restaurants in town. 

If you are an experienced surfer wanting to explore and surf the magical coastline of Taghazout and its surroundings, then the Surf Explorer Experience is a great option for you.

Agadir Al Massira airport is our nearest airport (Agadir only has one airport for international travel, so sometimes it is just called Agadir Airport)

Agadir Airport transfer rate: 300dhs (roughly 24 USD)

We share the cost of the trip with everyone coming in on the same flight, so if you are coming in on the Easyjet flight to Agadir, then often the airport transfer will be just 5-10 USD.

Overview

Our yoga instructors, Joanna and Amy have a wealth of experience of teaching yoga all over the world. Our classes are a mix that has been developed over the years to help improve wellness, but also to help the body recover from a long day of surfing.

Our style of yoga is physically demanding due to the constant movement from one pose to the next (Vinyasa) practiced in its correct sequential order. Our Ashtanga style gradually leads the practitioner to rediscover his or her fullest potential on all levels of human consciousness, physical, psychological, and spiritual.

Combined with the practice of correct breathing (Ujjayi Pranayama), postures (asanas), gazing point (driste), and energetic locks (bandas), we help you gain control of your senses and uncover a deep awareness of yourself.

Our sunset yoga classes last just over an hour and are £8 per session (100dhs).

When you submit a booking request you will be charged in full, if the host declines the booking of does not accept within 7 days you will be refund in full automatically. If the host accepts your funds will be held on behalf of the host.
