Welcome to Surf & Yoga Mirissa. Now is the time to take a step into the wild... From the tropical paradise, we like to call home, Surf & Yoga Mirissa invites you to release and disconnect from your daily routine. Here you will find lush palm trees, fresh coconuts, dreamy waves and abundance of serenity.
We are located in the town of Mirissa, on the south coast of Sri Lanka. Surrounded by a jungle of palm trees and fine sand it forms a stunning crescent beach, making it the perfect getaway for everyone. Some of the main Southern surf spots are just a few minutes away from your doorstep, a real treat for surfers.
It doesn’t matter your age, height, or fitness level. The Surf & Yoga Sri Lanka Yoga program is suitable for everyone from beginners to advanced yogis; our camp instructor will adapt the postures allowing you to take full advantage of a beautiful physical and spiritual experience.
Yoga at Surf & Yoga Sri Lanka is done either in the jungle shala or inside space (only during the off-season when there is rain). Special private classes can be arranged on request as well.
If you are a surfer and want to surf while staying with us, we also have an in-house surf shop if you want to buy wax, leashes, traction pads, or rent surfboards and snorkeling gear.
We can also organize the following excursions for you: Fishing tours; Whale watching; Turtle watching at night; City tours; Tea factory visits; Temple tours; Diving tours; Airport transfers etc.

I had the best time ever!
If you're looking for a beautiful place in a well situated location with amazing food and great people, you're at the right place.
I spent 2 weeks and could have stayed way longer if I didn't book my return flight.
The place is beautiful surrounded by beautiful trees. You can sometimes see some monkeys jumping around. There is a cafe with a co-working space with AC. I could work a few hours every day in a calm and relaxed environment. They also sell t-shirts, jewelry, sun sticks and reusable water bottles. Then there is the main area with the kitchen where the meals are served. I really enjoyed the big tables where everyone sat together. It really felt like family dinners. There is a big pool in the middle of the jungle which is really cool. For the yoga the shala is really cute with a nice atmosphere surrounded by nature. They also have a special space for aerial yoga with a really great teacher. But in general all the teachers were experienced and helped me to improve my practice. They offered a large variety of classes like Vinyasa, Yin, meditation, Breathwork, etc.
Otherwise the people made my whole experience even better. The staff were really friendly, helpful and kind. They organised fun activities and game nights. I also met super sweet people from all over the world. A lot of solo women travelers which was nice as I felt safe.
Overall I highly recommend this place if you want to feel at home while enjoying some epic surf sessions and yoga lessons.
I will come back for sure ! ❤️❤️❤️

Surf & Yoga Mirissa is first and foremost a community of wonderful people. From the teachers to the manager and staff, everyone is always available with great energy and manners. They go above and beyond 24/7 to make your stay unforgettable, and they truly connected with me on a personal level. The food is also excellent and always hits the spot at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Bonus points for the cafe as well. I truly enjoyed every sip of coffee there. Bottom line, the day I left felt like leaving home. I'll miss the camp a lot, and I can't wait to be back.

When you submit a booking request you will be charged in full, if the host declines the booking of does not accept within 7 days you will be refund in full automatically. If the host accepts your funds will be held on behalf of the host.
You can request a cancelation directly with your host through your booking on your account.
We define 4 levels of standard cancellation policies that apply to all retreats purchased on our site - detailed information can be found in our terms and conditions
This will all depend on how busy the venue is and what their booking limits are.
For some of the venues you will need to have a certain amount of experience, others will be catered to those who are just starting out. You can contact us or the host to find out more information.
Most venues will provide the equipment needed for your activity - you can find this information in the venue listing.
Well that depends on your adventure! We always recommend taking a reusable water bottle, reef safe suncream or zinc along with appropriate clothing for the activities you have planned. If you need to know more please ask our team or your host and we'll try to guide you the best we can.
